Charlie and Lola: I'm Really Ever So Not Well

Lola has a cold and is feeling really ever so not well. So her big brother, Charlie, thinks of all sorts of ideas to try to cheer Lola up. He brings her pink milk and biscuits, sings her a special song, plays her best smiley jigsaw puzzle and even takes her on a cloud-hopping adventure! Soon Lola's feeling much, much better!

Reviews

. . . brilliantly structured so that it holds the interest when read aloud rather as a good joke must before arriving at its punchline . . . Nick Sharratt's bright, simple pictures look almost as though an inspired child had produced them - and that may well be why children respond to them so warmly

—— Observer

Daisy, with her perfectly round face, determined, beady eyes and severe Joan of Arc coif, is a veritable icon of juvenile intransigence

—— Publisher's Weekly

A brilliantly funny book that will strike familiar chords with both parents and children

—— Junior

Hilarious

—— Sunday Express

A winner in any early years classroom
