Charles follows, but his arrival coincides with the discovery that Aristide's death was murder. The ensuing investigation drags Charles into the dark heart of the family, and its deadly secrets and dangers. Even if Charles escapes with his life, will he survive the corrosive effect of the family itself? This thrilling BBC radio drama stars Rory Kinnear as Charles and Anna Maxwell Martin as Sophia.
This book is one of my own special favourites... practically everyone has liked Crooked House, so I am justified in my belief that it is one of my best.
—— Agatha ChristieCompared to the slavering slop served up in today's celeb rags, this is industrial-strength juice.
—— EmpireFull of gossipy anecdotes ... great fun
—— Viola Fort , ObserverA definitive, generational work
—— Vanity FairFirst-rate reporting...dense and intimate
—— PeopleAnthony Summers never writes a book that fails to offer accurate material you will find nowhere else...No surprise then that Sinatra: The Life is one of the very few, bona fide, three-dimensional portraits of an amazingly complex, interesting and sometimes god-awful guy
—— Norman MailerBeautifully penned...a heart warming and inspirational read
—— The List
