Mini Grey is a consistently brilliant writer and illustrator, brimming with ideas and invention, and this is another triumph
—— Daily TelegraphMini Grey's comic-strip story, with its busy frames and witty filmic references, celebrates true friendship, dirt and all
—— GuardianI can't recommend Traction Man Meets Turbo Dog highly enough . . . A witty and surreal picture book that's suitable for both reading aloud and first attempts at reading alone. It's slightly subversive in a Toy Story way, but is absolutely and utterly British. Don't miss it
—— thebookbag.co.ukAnother brilliant picture book from Mini Grey, whose sense of humour and adventure, love of the language of the toy box and understanding of childhood fantasy is matched by her pictorial invention and a skill at characterisation that can make even a scrubbing brush appealing
—— Books for KeepsA brilliant and playful parody of an action-hero drama by quirky writer Mini Grey
—— JuniorA glorious antidote to boneheaded machismo . . . and a visual feast of wit and boundless imagination. A gem
—— CarouselThe retro superhero Traction Man is back for another madcap domestic adventure . . . All the excellent details in the pictures make this a hugely entertaining story from award-winning author/illustrator
—— tBK MagazineThis is a fabulous book, told with great humour which appeals directly to youngsters and adults alike.
Nick Sharratt's simple and effective illustrations...add enormously to the appeal of Kes Gray's words.
A brilliantly funny book that will strike familiar chords with both parents and children.
