When it comes to Wendy, I am not sure where to start. I have never met someone like her. She manages to be one of the funniest yet hardest working people I have ever met. She consistently makes me giggle and also manages to make me look the best I possibly can. What more could you want?! Whatever Wendy does to look so incredible, we should all be taking notes. I have been working with Wendy since I was 18 and am proud to call her a friend. Wendy was a pioneer of the “natural”, “dewy” “translucent” look long before it became a current obsession- one of the very first make-up artists to realise that beautiful skin comes from the inside. And she practices what she preaches- bringing healthy vitamin rich drinks to the studio and encouraging young models to eat healthily. Her skills with the make-up brushes, are of course, legendary and I’ve enjoyed watching her transform models and celebrities with the lightest of touches. Luckily- her healthy ideas allow for the odd guilty pleasure. I've made the date and walnut brownies and take it from me, they are yummy.

Wendy is by far one of the most forward, fun and fast makeup artists I know. She knows exactly what she wants and applies all skincare and foundations in a massage-like way, that it’s always a blessing being in her chair. And she’s always on some diet that I then join in to, for the shoot at least. She’s a good leader with that! Wish I could have her on all my sets!

I feel so lucky to be able to say that Wendy was the first makeup artist I've worked with in my career. We first met on the set of the Burberry campaign and she never fails to amaze me. The thing that separates Wendy from other makeup artists is not only her genuine, fun and kind hearted spirit- it's the fact that she is a true visionary and really knows her stuff about makeup, skincare and health.
